DECEMBER
As 2013 draws to a close, the residential real estate market in Verona is in its best shape since the start of the recession, with higher prices and plenty of willing buyers waiting for more listings. Two of the Subway robbers are behind bars and a bald eagle stopped by on Hathaway Lane for a visit. (See more of Vincent Russo’s photos of the bird in An Eagle In Verona.) Veronans were getting ready for New Year’s festivities, perhaps even dining at Fricassee, the Montclair restaurant created by Verona native Mark Papera. It ended the year with a glowing review from the New York Times.
