Car-Wells-FargoAlex Eliasof, who had reported several stories for MyVeronaNJ.com over the last few years, was in the right place at the right time when a car drove through the walk-up window at the Wells Fargo branch in Verona. He snapped the picture and quickly reported the story. The elderly driver was not hurt, nor were any other bank customers. In sports, the Hillbilly football team scored an upset over Cresskill in the first round of the playoffs, but failed to advance further. VHS girls lacrosse starters Lauren Ednie and Lizzie Scandiffio signed to play division 1 lacrosse. Verona real estate got a boost when a young couple got approval to build a massive estate in the Afterglow section.
