Mr. Sean O’Neill died on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Belleville. He was 48 years old.
Friends will be received in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on May 4 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Born in Orange, Sean grew up in Verona. He graduated from Verona High School in 1994, where he was a standout hockey player. He has been a self-employed painting contractor for over 20 years and was a restaurant manager on Long Beach Island and southern Florida. In his free time, he followed the sun and surf on Long Beach Island and Florida.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Hope O’Neill, and is survived by his brothers John O’Neill (Dena) and Jeffrey O’Neill (Nicki). He was the crazy Uncle Sean to Alex, Olive, Jack, Frank and Maile and the beloved nephew of Kathleen O’Neill.
