The Verona Lions Club has kicked off its big fall fundraiser, the 50/50 raffle.
The winner receives 40% of the proceeds and second place receives 10%. In past years, the Lions have sold between 1,500 and 1,700 tickets at $10 each. Proceeds fund a variety of Lions community service programs and scholarships.
You can buy a raffle ticket from any Lions Club member or online through the club’s website at www.lionsclubveronanj.org.
The raffle drawing will be held on Thursday, December 8.
