UPDATE: Because there’s rain in the forecast for Wednesday night, the ceremony has been moved to the Community Center. The time is still 6:30p.m. The Verona Town Council has its reorganization ceremony on Wednesday evening, July 1, and the public is invited to attend. Alex Roman will be seated for his first term as a Town Council member, and Michael Nochimson will begin his second term. Both were the winners of the May 12 Town Council election. The Council’s new mayor, who is likely to be Kevin Ryan, will be sworn in.
The reorganization ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. in front of Town Hall. If it rains, and right now there is s 50% chance that it might, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Council chambers on the second floor of Town Hall.
