This is Blake. Poor little guy has been at the shelter for over a year, He gets overlooked because he is very afraid there and presents as if he is aggressive. All he really wants is to be loved and saved.
“Within five minutes of spending time with him, he was licking my face,” says Carolyn Robertson Narepecha, a Verona shelter volunteer. “He is a bit afraid when meeting new people, but can you blame him?”
Blake is about two years old and is a wire-haired fox terrier mix. He would be best in a home without children but deserves his second chance. Once he bonds with you, he is your best friend. “Please don’t let this poor guy stay in a cage unloved and afraid,” says Narepecha.
