Mrs. Dorothy M. Scheibe, 99, died on December 30, 2010 in New Hampshire.
A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Born and raised in Verona, Mrs. Scheibe lived in Montclair and East Dennis, Mass., prior to moving to Nashua, N.H. in 2009.
She was the receptionist/nurse for twenty years in the offices of Dr. Cox and Dr. Barnard in Montclair, retiring in 1965. Mrs. Scheibe was a member of the Bridge Club and the Garden Club in East Dennis.
She is the wife of the late John Scheibe, the mother of John Scheibe, Peter Scheibe and his wife Susan, Robert Scheibe and his wife Susan , the grandmother of seven and great grandmother of 10. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Elmer and Walter Williams.
