The Verona Recreation Department is looking for volunteer coaches for its in-town basketball program.
Verona has three Recreation leagues–3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade, and 7th and 8th grade–and each league has a boys and a girls division. The number of teams at each grade level varies depending on how many children register. Verona Recreation caps teams at 10 players on a roster so that players get equal playing time.
All volunteer coaches are required to undergo a background check and must be able to attend the draft on Saturday, November 4.
