Do you love to sing or do you know someone who does?

Voices of Verona and West Essex, a choral group that’s been singing for more than 40 years is looking for new members to join.

The group does two concerts a year at the Verona Community Center: One in December with a holiday theme and one in the spring which mixes pop, rock, jazz, Broadway and more. It also sings at local nursing homes at the same time of the year.

If you love to sing (or know anyone who’d be interested), have some experience with SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass) and know that singing is so good for the heart that soul, the group has a conductor and piano accompanist who are also willing to guide everything along.

Voices of Verona and West Essex rehearses at the H.B. Whitehorne Middle School Music Room, 600 Bloomfield Ave., every Tuesday night starting September 12. For more information, contact Tom Jung (973) 953-3667 or Terry Moore (973) 652-9988.
