Now that the Town Council election is over, the Verona Environmental Commission is asking that you not throw campaign lawn signs in the garbage.

According to VEC Chair Gloria Machnowski, the signs are made of corrugated polypropylene plastic and metal, which are recyclable. Simply separate the metal stakes from the plastic signs, and drop them off in the appropriate bins at the Verona Recycling Center, which is located on Commerce Court. The Recycling Center is open Wednesday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.ElectionSignCollage
