YMCA-OpenHouse-BannerThe YMCA of Montclair–which serves Verona and other surrounding towns–is hosting its Open House Week through Saturday, September 13 at their Park Street Branch, 25 Park Street, Montclair. The community is welcome to experience how the Y helps everyone travel the path to better health and wellness.

Open House Week offerings*:

• Adults can drop in and participate for free in 150+ group exercise and aquatic classes.
• Adults who join during Open House Week receive one free month of membership.
• Program experts and tours available Saturday, September 13 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Babysitting at a reasonable cost for those who work out.
• Drawings to win prizes like a 6-month adult membership, 3-personal-training-sessions package or a session of swimming lessons.

* Photo I.D. required. New members only, restrictions apply.

In addition, the Y is waiving the joining fee for those who join during September.

Participants in Open House Week can enjoy unlimited use of the Y’s group exercise classes like Yoga and Zumba, weight room, open lap and family swimming and open gym time.

Financial assistance is available to residents of Verona based on family income, number of household members and the availability of Y funds. It’s provided on a first come, first served basis.
