As you remember, I chose the “Hawaiian Luau Pork,” since the idea of Hawaii/warm weather/beach/luau sounded really appetizing in the middle of all those winter snowstorms. So – I had a pork shoulder in the freezer, defrosted it and plopped it in the crockpot with the Campbell’s sauce – and promptly left for a business trip for a few days. When I asked my daughter how it was, II learned that my husband ate the entire dish over two days – so it must have been pretty good! He’s not one for sweet sauces, but he said it was not overly fruity or sweet, but very tasty.

On my own, I followed up with the Sweet Korean Barbecue sauce, which was also good. I use my crockpot a lot for dishes like these, and I’d probably use these sauces in a pinch, when I don’t have all the necessary ingredients on hand to make the sauces myself.
