The meeting of the Verona Town Council on Monday, May 6, will include a presentation by Conifer Realty on the state of the affordable housing complex going up near the Verona Community Center.
The developer is expected to talk to the Council about when the 95-unit complex, which is to be called Verona Flats, will be completed, as well as the application and tenant selection process.
According to Conifer’s website, the rent for a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment will range from $945 to $1,160 a month. The two bedroom, 1 bathroom apartments will cost between $678 and $1,389 a month, while the 3 bedroom units, which will have 2 bathrooms, will be from $761 to $1,583 a month. There are income limits for all apartments, and tenants will need to provide a one-month security deposit. There are floor plans for each type of apartment on the website.
