MyVeronaNJ-Prescription-Drugs-RecyclingDear Verona Community,

This year the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee (VMAC) is required to create a new grant in order to receive funding for 2014-2017 from the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (GCADA).

The purpose of this email is to ask you to provide your opinion by completing a brief survey on the current trends, needs, and behaviors regarding the abuse of alcohol and other drugs within our community. VMAC will use the responses to ensure that we represent as many viewpoints as possible in the design of the new grant, which will determine the types of programs and activities we will be able to fund. The survey is completely private and anonymous, unless you wish to identify yourself.

For those of you unfamiliar with VMAC, we provide educational programming and prevention outreach to the citizens of Verona. Funding comes from a grant through GCADA with matching funds from the Township of Verona. VMAC was authorized by the Township in 1989 to promote the prevention efforts of the State of NJ at the community level.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey. By providing this valuable feedback, you will allow VMAC to serve Verona even more effectively by making the new grant more receptive to the needs of all residents.

Please use the link below to begin the survey.

At the end of the survey, there will be an opportunity to volunteer to join VMAC’s mission to bring information and education of a healthy lifestyle to Verona as we have done for more than 20 years.

If you would like to learn more about VMAC and our mission, please visit our website at VMACNJ.ORG.

Thank you –
VMAC Board
