You knew this was inevitable: Verona’s public schools will be closed on Monday. We are still awaiting word on Our Lady of the Lake School, which usually follows the public schools. Our Lady of the Lake School is closed on Monday.
All after-school sports at Verona High School are also cancelled.
Still no word on Tuesday for either public or parochial schools. Hurricane Sandy expected to slam into New Jersey late Monday into Tuesday, bringing perhaps as much as 6 inches of rain to our area.
We received word at 5:20. Our Lady of the Lake School will also be closed tomorrow.
