Because of Hurricane Sandy and the interest in maintaining safety, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. has closed all County offices, buildings and facilities on Monday, October 29.
The county says that all employees who work in the Sheriff’s Office, Hospital Center, Correctional Facility, Juvenile Detention Facility and other essential positions should still come to work.
