The Junior Women’s Club of Verona has a new fundraiser that could save you some money in Verona.
The club is selling a discount card, a card the size of a credit card that fits into your wallet and holds discounts to 22 local businesses. The cardholder shows his/her card and the featured businesses will honor the discount again and again from June 1, 2011 to November 30, 2011. The discount card costs $20 to purchase. The businesses offering discounts to cardholders are:

- 10% off at Bella Salon and Spa,
- free medium drink with a purchase of a medium popcorn at the Clearview Caldwell Cinema,
- 10% off at the Cloverleaf,
- 10% off at Frank Anthony’s,
- 10% off at Forte Pizzeria and Ristorante,
- buy one get one free at Gelotti,
- 20% off at the Hobcaw Café,
- $2 off at JT’s Barber Shop,
- 10% off breakfast at Jack’s Café,
- $100 off an academic evaluation at the Huntington Learning Center,
- 10% off at Lakeside Deli,
- $5 off a purchase of $25 at Mardi Gras (restrictions apply),
- 10% off at O’Neil’s,
- free chips and salsa with an order of $12.00 or more at Tortilla Sunrise,
- 50 cents off an item at Towne Scoop,
- 10% off at Verona Pizza,
- 10% off at Twin Methods Dry Cleaners,
- 10% off dinner at Verona Diner,
- 10% off at Verona Yoga,
- 50% off products and services at Yin Yang Cosmetics,

Sales of the card will help the Junior Women’s Club raise the funds it needs to continue the important work it does within our community and beyond: assisting families in need, supporting our first responders, awarding scholarships to our students, caring for our senior citizens, filling gaps in our school budget with grants and supplies, and supporting a variety of local, national and international humanitarian organizations.
