Boys Lax Takes On Mountain Lakes Today

The Verona High School boys lacrosse team moves a step ahead in the state playoffs today, May 24, with a match against Mountain Lakes. The game starts at 4 p.m. at Mountain Lakes High School, and you can get there by clicking on the map below.

Mountain Lakes is 11-6 on the season and comes into today’s match after a first-round bye. Verona’s record is 13-5.

  1. Directions (for once you at Mountain Lakes H.S.) from John Denton thanks to Lynn Tucci and Mtn Lakes A.D. –

    Rt. 287N to exit 43.
    Left at the end of ramp.
    Right at first light (Fanny Rd).
    Left at 4-way stop signs (Morris Rd/Ave).
    Go about 2/3 of a mile and make the 3rd or 4th right (he wasn’t sure) onto Briarcliff Rd. This street is after you have passed the normal Powerville Rd. turnoff for the high school.
    The field is by/behind the Briarcliff School and you can park in the school parking lot and walk down a path to the field.
