The Verona-Glen Ridge Hockey team is hosting its annual family skate on Saturday, January 15, from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. at Clary Anderson Arena in Montclair.

VGR has made it possible all Verona and Glen Ridge families to get in to the arena free; if you need skates, Clary has them to rent for a nominal fee. In addition to the open skating time, the team is promising music and family fun. Apparel and food will be sold to benefit the VGR hockey program.

“This is a great community event,” says Andor Kish, head coach of the VGR Hockey team. “It brings awareness to our solid hockey program as one team with one goal.”

For additional, contact John Gilmore at [email protected], or Nancy Timmons at [email protected]. The Clary Anderson Arena is located at 41 Chestnut St., near the Walnut Street train station.
