Get Ready To Shovel

There’s some new snow on Verona streets already and maybe as much as 7 inches more due by nightfall, according to the National Weather Service. The state police were already warning motorists yesterday to not venture out unless absolutely necessary. (As the kids say, “Duh”.)

Verona schools are open, although Little Falls has already called a half day. And when you do start to shovel, please remember to shovel out any nearby fire hydrants. The house you save could be your own.

  1. Good reminder. Also remember, you need to clear your sidewalks after the storm. Verona is home to a lot of kids who walk to school. And that’s a good thing. But it’s really hard when people don’t shovel.
