On Saturday, January 8, join the New Jersey Audubon Society in the woods behind the Essex County Environmental Center for walk in search of birds seen here only in winter. The cost is $5 for NJAS members and $7 for non-members, and the walk begins at 10:30 a.m. You must register in advance by calling 973-226-6082.
