Earlier this month, the Verona Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 72 distributed Christmas trees to needy Verona families. The P.B.A. purchased 19 trees from Hillcrest Farms, loaded them onto pickup trucks and delivered them. Hillcrest Farms’ owners, the Filoso family, pitched in and donated the stands for each tree.
