The Heroes & Cool Kids program paid its first visit to H.B. Whitehorne Middle School on December 10 for a mentoring session with fifth graders. The Heroes, drawn from Verona High School, played games with the fifth grader Cool Kids that emphasized the importance of health and nutrition.
