In recognition of Women’s History Month in March, the Verona Public Library and Verona Multicultural Inclusion & Accessibility Advisory Committee are now accepting nominations for their second Women of Impact cohort.
Women of Impact was created last year to highlight women who are positive role models or who have made a positive impact within Verona or the greater community. Nominees should be women who currently reside or work in Verona and are ages 18 years and older. Last year’s nominees were Rosemary Citrano Gabbe, Toral Patel Jendi, Julia Prout, Pamela Priscoe and Catherine Tamasik.
The nomination deadline for this year is Sunday, February 11, and nominees will be notified of their selection no later than Sunday February 25. The nomination form is here.
The women who are chosen will be the featured speakers at a panel event scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 10, at 3 p.m. at the Verona Community Center.
