In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Verona Multicultural Inclusion and Accessibility Advisory Committee (MIAAC) and the Verona Public Library invite members of the public to attend the “Women of Impact Panel” on Sunday, March 26, at 3:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Verona Community Center ballroom at 800 Bloomfield Avenue.

The purpose of this panel is to highlight women who are positive role models and who have made a positive impact within Verona or the greater community. In early February 2023 the committee announced the event and opened a nomination form on the library’s website. Members of the public submitted their nominations through March 5. Each nominee was scored based on the information provided in the nominator’s description.

The panelists selected for this first annual event include Verona residents Rosemary Citrano Gabbe, Toral Patel Jendi, Julia Prout, Pamela Priscoe, and Catherine Tamasik.

Registration for this event is not required. Please join us as we celebrate the impactful women in our community.
