Fair In The Square, Library Book Sale This Weekend

Verona kicks off the holiday season this weekend with the big used book sale at the Verona Public Library and the outdoor Fair In The Square festival.

The Friends of Verona Public Library book sale starts tonight (Thursday, November 30) with a members-only preview night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the library basement. On Friday, December 1, the sale is open to the general public from noon to 4:30 p.m. On Saturday the hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Sunday, the sale runs 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday is also $5 bag day.

Teachers can fill a bag for $3 from Friday to Sunday. You’ll need to bring your own bag and payment is by cash, check or Venmo only.

Fair In The Square will be held on Saturday, December 2 from noon to 5 p.m. in the Civic Center in front of Town Hall. There will be food and gift vendors, holiday entertainment, and pictures with Santa. The tree lighting is at 4:30 p.m., when Santa rolls in on a Verona Fire Department truck.
