The Verona Democratic Committee awarded its 2023 scholarships to seniors Serena Warner and Caitlyn Heimerle. This scholarship is awarded to Verona High School graduating seniors who plan to study political science, history, international relations, or any other major they intend to use for public service. The Verona Democratic Committee awards $500 yearly to two deserving VHS seniors. The Committee partners with the Verona Democratic Team, comprised of Verona residents who support Democratic candidates and issues. The Committee established this scholarship in 2019.
