Mrs. Doris Gallucci, 86, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023 at home in Verona.
A service will be held at the Garden Mausoleum (outdoors) in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, New Jersey on Wednesday, April 5 at 11 a.m.
Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Newark and lived in Bloomfield before moving to Verona 62 years ago. She graduated from Barringer High School in Newark with the Class of 1956.
Mrs. Gallucci worked as a sales clerk for Gemmell’s Dry Cleaners in Verona for 15 years. She also worked for Firemens Insurance Company.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Helen (nee Kopcinski) Demech and her sisters, Rosemarie, Janet and Rachel.
Mrs. Gallucci is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred Gallucci, and many nieces and nephews.
