Verona residents interested in running for Township Council in the May 9, 2017 municipal election can obtain an election packet in the Office of the Municipal Clerk, 600 Bloomfield Avenue, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Candidates must be a registered voter in the Township of Verona, and have been a resident of the Township of Verona for a least one year.
Three seats will be open for a four-year term on the governing body.
The deadline for all candidates to file petitions for the May 9 election is Monday, March 6 at 4 p.m.
