The Township of Verona is seeking an experienced secretary to act as the Planning Board clerk. Meetings are held one (1) evening per month plus special meetings when scheduled. Tasks include: attend all meetings; prepare agendas, transcribe and distribute comprehensive meeting minutes; prepare and place public advertisements of meeting/agendas/resolutions; maintain records and other pertinent material. Experience with board or committee meetings a plus. Applicant must have high level of competency in MS Office. Paralegal, legal secretarial experience preferred. At least two (2) years of clerical experience involving the organization of office clerical processes and procedures or as a secretary to an executive or administrator in a public or private organization. Preference will be given to Verona residents. Position calls for approximately 20 hours per week. Salary $12.50-$16.50/hour. EEOE/ADA
