MyVeronaNJ-First-PresbyterianThe First Presbyterian Church of Verona, located at 10 Fairview Avenue, will be celebrating 120 years of ministry Sunday, December 7 at 10:15 a.m. The service will feature guest musican Max Morden and the senior choir will perform the anthem “Our Hymn of Celebration” by Nancy Price and Don Besig. The anthem holds special meaning in the church as it was commissioned to celebrate the church’s 100th anniversary in 1994. The Reverend Ed Clysdale will be preaching.

Immediately following the service the church will host its annual Alternative Christmas Mall. The church invites you to give a contribution to a worthy organization as a Christmas gift for family and friends by shopping at the Alternative Mall (rather than going to a “regular” shopping center). And unlike the mall, there is plenty of parking in the lot directly behind the church. Organizations such as the Verona Children’s Fund, Rainbows and the Interfaith Hospitality Network have participated in the past and the church expects even more this year.
