Board Of Education To Meet Tuesday Night

VHS-Electronic-SignThe Verona Board of Education has moved up its first November meeting to tonight, November 5, from next week.

Among the things that will be decided at tonight’s meeting is the naming of the successor to Dawn DuBois. Seven candidates have expressed interest in the unexpired term, including Ellen Conover, Dominic Ferry, Donald Flood, Anthony Gaeta, Anthony Gardner, George Sidrak and Steve Spardel.

The meeting will be held, as always, in the Verona High School library and it begins at 8 p.m., the same time as the polls close on the election to fill two three-year terms on the BOE.
