Verona public schools will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, March 19, due to the overnight snow. All students should report at 10 a.m.
The snow made driving up Verona’s hills slow and tricky last night. Roads are clear now, but there may be ice in patches.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will rise into the 40s today and we may see a bit of rain this afternoon. As of now, all previously scheduled after-school activities, including the state concert band competition at Verona High School, will be taking place as planned.
