Since the rain, rain won’t go away, almost all of the Verona High School sports scheduled for this afternoon and evening are going to have to move.
The lone exception, as of this writing, is the boys varsity soccer game against Science Park High School, which is still scheduled to take place at the Ironbound Stadium at 4 p.m.
The girls soccer game against Mount Saint Dominic Academy has been moved to next Friday, October 26 at 4 p.m. The girls tennis match against Caldwell is now slated for October 30, and the big rivalry football game against Cedar Grove that should have happened tonight has been moved to tomorrow, October 20, with a 2 p.m. start.
The Marching Maroon and White’s band competition in Montville is still on for Saturday, though the start time may change if the event is moved indoors.
