More Recycling Bins This Weekend

Verona still has a few more recycling bins to give away, so go to the Public Works garage on Ozone Avenue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, December 18, to get yours. They are free, but the town is limiting distribution to one bin per household, and you’ll have to show proof of residency.

Remember, these bins are for plastic, glass and metal recyclables only. Electronics and cardboard should be recycled at the Commerce Court recycling center, because putting them out with the regular trash will raise our garbage hauling costs. For a refresher on what Verona recycles, see the Web site of the Verona Environmental Commission.
