The Verona High School Marching Maroon and White competed in Montville this past Saturday, and if you watched their performance at the Festival of Bands or their dress rehearsal, you probably would have predicted this result: Verona won first place in Group 5A, garnering the titles of Best Overall Effect, Best Visual Performance, Best Music, Best Colorguard and Best Drumline.

Now for those of you who can’t read Russian (and this is written in fairly bad Russian), the poster, who is pretending to be Tchaikovsky writing from the Conservatory in St. Petersburg, is asserting that he is going to kick Verona in a certain part of its anatomy. Obviously, he doesn’t understand New Jersey.
