Ms. Patricia E. Connolly died on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.
Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Tuesday, August 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Lakeside Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, August 2 at 10 a.m.
Born in Montclair, Pat (Trish) was a lifelong resident of Verona, graduating from Our Lady of the Lake School and Verona High School. Trish had a love of dance and served as a choreographer for Verona High School students, many of whom appeared on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour.
She had a 25-year career as a medical secretary, working for NJ Manufacturers Insurance Co in Newark and Clifton, retiring in 1999.
Trish was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Ethelyn Connolly; her brother, Joseph T. Connolly, Esq., her brother-in-law, Frank E. Lytle and nephews, Scott Lytle and Kenny Lytle.
She is survived by her siblings, Paula J. Connolly, Joan M. Lytle, John P. Connolly (Maryellen), Peter J. Connolly (Elizabeth) and sister-in-law, Phyllis J. Connolly.
She is also survived by 11 nieces, Sally, Marci, Jill, Vicki, Maureen, Tara, Megan, Kate, Kristen, Kathleen, Mary and 9 nephews, Patrick, Jerome, Andrew, Nick, Mark, Jeff, Jimmy, Michael and Peter.
Memorial donations in her name to the Verona Rescue Squad or Verona PBA Local 72 would be greatly appreciated.
