On Tuesday, August 16, Cub Scout Packs 5, 31 and 32 will hold an event at the Verona Pool for all Verona boys and girls who will be in kindergarten through fifth grade this fall.
At the Build-A-Boat event, kids can build a popsicle-stick raft, race it in the Scouts’ Raingutter Regatta track, and learn about Scouting.
The event, which will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., will be held on Verona Family Night at the pool, which means that entrance to the pool is free for all Verona families. Interested children should go to the Verona Recreation Department tent, with their parent or guardian.
