The first-ever Verona Fights Hunger Week will end Saturday, October 18, with a celebration at Verona Town Hall. All are welcome to attend the event, which will begin at 9 a.m. and include a brief program at 10:30 a.m.
Anyone who has collected donations should bring them to Town Hall on Saturday morning so that they can be included in the final tally. The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona, which coordinated the town-wide food drive, has arranged for all donations to be loaded on a truck bound for the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair.
