Every two years, with the term of a new mayor, there is an event to raise funds for a variety of Verona charities. The folks behind this year’s event for Mayor Bob Manley have let us know that their event will be May 3, which is a Saturday.
That’s it. That’s all we know. Can’t tell you whether this is a day or evening event (we’ve had both brunches and dinners in recent years) or who will be the honorees. So save the date, until we know more. 
Thanks for the announcement Virginia. The 2014 Verona Mayor’s Charity Ball is being held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Richfield Regency, from 6:00 PM till 11:00 PM. Honorees have been selected and notified, and an announcement as to who they are will be forthcoming very soon.
