Think you’re funny? Here’s your chance to prove it! Essex Toastmasters invites current Toastmasters members to volunteer to be a contestant in its humorous speech competition. This will be held on Thursday, August 22, in the Verona Public Library at 7 p.m. Members have the opportunity to present one humorous speech – original or previously presented – lasting 5 to 7 minutes.
Toastmasters International is holding a series of contests for its Humorous Speech and Table Topics components. Winners will advance to Area, Division, and District level contests held in September, October, and November respectively. The District level event is being held at the Fall District Conference on November 9 at the Crowne Plaza in Edison.

Essex Toastmasters was established in 1957 and is part of District 83 Toastmasters.
