Children’s House Celebrates India

The students at The Children’s House, a Montessori preschool in Verona, celebrated Indian culture on Tuesday, May 22, following several months of studying the country’s geography, currency and customs. The event included traditional Indian games, music, dress up, crafts and food, such as chapati, potato curry, mango lassi. As shown in the photo, the children dressed in festive lehengas, kurtas and salwar kameez and were adorned with bindis.
