The New Jersey Audubon Society is holding a birding hike in Branch Brook Park on Thursday, June 24 at 9 a.m. It says you’re likely to see a variety of birdlife, from forest birds to ducks and herons. Hikers should meet at the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center at the north end of the park. The hike is free, but the NJAS would like you to register in advance if you are going by calling Kelly Wenzel at 973-226-6082.
