The New Jersey Devils have named Verona resident John MacLean their new head coach. MacLean replaces Jacques Lemaire, who retired at the end of last season. You can read the full release on the Devil’s site here. It’s a home-coming of sorts for MacLean, who is a former Devil’s player and was on the Devils’ first playoff team.
