Kathleen A. Reinhardt, 72, of Flanders, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

Visiting hours will be held at the Prout Funeral Home (370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, NJ) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church (219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell) at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

Kathleen was a warm and loving woman who will forever be cherished as a devoted and doting grandmother.

She graduated from Verona High School with the Class of 1969 and earned an Associate’s degree in Social Work from Montclair State. For over 20 years, she served as an office manager for Accurate Waste Systems in Mt. Olive, New Jersey, retiring in 2020.

Among her many passions, Kathleen enjoyed playing the slots and embarking on cruise vacations. Her love for adventure and joyous spirit brightened the lives of those around her.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ann Brown, and her brother, Edward Brown.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William L. Reinhardt, with whom she shared over four decades of marriage since May 7, 1976. She is also survived by her loving children, William A. Reinhardt (Jennifer Ann) and Heather Ann Sabol (Eric R.), as well as her cherished grandchildren, William A. Reinhardt, Jr., Jenna A. Reinhardt, Addison Rose Sabol, Brenna Kathleen Sabol, and Cayden James Sabol.

Kathleen’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
