Mrs. Laurie (nee Shanks) Sona, 69, died peacefully on November 30, 2023 at Montclair Manor in Montclair.
Visiting will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona on Tuesday, December 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sona was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Sona and her parents, Charles A. and Margaret Shanks.
She is survived by her son, Robert Tomasulo; in-laws, Judith Thatcher (Douglas), George W. Sona, Sr., William J. Sona (Donna), Lori Ann Ramos-James (Stephen) and Dawn Teets (William); and many nieces and nephews.
