Mark Greggory Eulie was born in Mineola, New York on May 13, 1957 and passed away on November 19, 2023 in Farmington, Connecticut. He was 66 years old. He grew up in New Paltz, N.Y., before settling in New Jersey for 37 years, 22 of them in Verona, and later moved to Bloomfield, where he resided for the last 4 years.
Mark had a career as a financial advisor in the banking sector. After more than three decades of service, he retired in 2019 from Santander, in Bloomfield. His guidance in the financial world was highly regarded by his colleagues and clients alike. Outside of his professional life, Mark was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a beloved brother.
Mark was a committed volunteer to the community; starting in his younger years as an Eagle Scout. In his adult life he would go onto to volunteer in many organizations with his children. He was a T-ball Little League coach, a Cub Scout leader and a Sunday school teacher. Mark was a founding member of the Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence (VFEE) and was on the board of directors for the North Essex Chamber of Commerce. Mark strengthened the community of every organization and club he was a part of and did it all humbly.
Mark is survived by his wife, Bettina Eulie; his sons, Anthony P. Eulie and Joseph R. Eulie, and Joe’s fiancée, Samantha Peters. He is also survived by his brother, Phillip Eulie, sister-in-law Myrna Eulie, and their two daughters, Paola and Isabella Eulie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and June Eulie.
Visiting will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Prout Funeral Home, located at 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona.
