Eastern European Peacemaker To Speak At Presbyterian Church

On Wednesday, September 20, international oeacemaker Gaia Magdalena Luczak will be speaking about her work with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and how they are trying to bring relief to the beleaguered part of Eastern Europe at the First Presbyterian Church of Verona, located at 10 Fairview Ave.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s Chamberlain Hall with a light meal of pizza and salad followed by Gaia’s presentation and discussion at 7 p.m.

This is an opportunity to hear firsthand about the struggles faced by Ukrainian refugees when they flee their homes and town under attack by the Russian army. There is no charge for this event,
