Mr. Ronald M. Lupi, Jr., fondly known as Ronald, died on June 21, 2023. Born on September 26, 1970, in East Orange, Ronald spent his formative years in Verona, and later lived in Chatham for 19 years.

He graduated from Verona High School in 1988 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University. Ronald's professional journey led him to a career in insurance, last working at Benefit Mall in Somerset, New Jersey.

Ronald is survived by his two children, Brandon and Gabriella and their mother Jill Lupi; his sister Lauren Capozzi and her husband Michael, his brother Christopher Lupi and his nieces Gianna and Nicolina Capozzi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Sr. and Margaret Lupi.

He was a kind, funny, and loving person who cherished those around him as well as his favorite sports teams (Cowboys & Yankees). We will never forget the impact Ron had on us all and will always reflect on him with good spirit.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Ronald's life on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona.

As we share stories and memories, may we find comfort in the legacy of love and kindness. We encourage all who knew Ronald to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page at www.proutfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, a fund to benefit his children's college education has been set up through Venmo @Brandongabbycollege. Donation checks can be made out to Brandon Lupi and mailed to 6 Todd Court Florham Park, NJ 07932.
