The Verona Rescue Squad is holding a blood drive this coming Friday, July 7, and the squad says registrations right now are below where they would like them to be.
The drive will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Verona Community Center. To donate, you have to be at least 16 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more. You should have something to eat within two hours of giving blood and drink lots of non-alcoholic liquids. Be sure to bring an ID.
